Time Trax - props.

Every episode had its hero prop and gadget of the week. So we had days to get designs and build them. These images are only a sample of the props built.

There were multiple futuristic weapons and odd gadgets that all had to have a blinking light. All the hero stuff had multiples made as they tend to get a beating on set.

A lot of the props had to be light weight versions of an on set pieces as they were used in fights.

These were done at a time when LED’s were reasonably new and not bright and so most lights were tiny bulbs needing lots of batteries. Blue LED’s were not yet developed and so blue lights were painted bulbs.
